Friends,
We're just a couple hours away from the 2023 State of the City address, which begins at 6 p.m. at Parkview Arts and Science Magnet High School, 2501 John Barrow Road.
I can't be more excited about sharing our accomplishments from the past year and putting forth a vision for a future that will truly position Little Rock as the catalyst for the new South. Please join me tonight for this important annual speech. It's free and open to the public.
If you can't be there in person, then go to the City of Little Rock's Facebook or YouTube pages at 6 p.m. to watch a livestreamed broadcast of the speech. The State of the City will be rebroadcasted on LRTV, the City's government access cable channel, at 7 p.m, Wednesday, 9 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. Saturday.
I appreciate your understanding as we rescheduled the speech from last week because severe storms were in the forecast. If you were planning to attend Thursday, I hope you'll be able to make it this evening.
The State of the City address is a forum for me to discuss priorities for 2023 and to highlight individuals and entities that are helping us grow Little Rock forward together.
As we make progress toward an even better Little Rock after the State of the City address, I encourage you to keep up with what's going on with your municipal government by liking and following the City on Facebook and Twitter.
If you aren't already a subscriber to this weekly email, please sign up for the Mayor's Monday Memo on our website.
